Derrame Por Excesos

The work emerges from layers of acrylic that, once encapsulated in resin, preserve their shine and depth. A wooden structure supports and separates the body of the piece from the wall, allowing the relief to detach from the plane and occupy space. The material descends in irregular strips—somewhere between waterfall and bark—where color, density, and fractured edges coexist in tension. Light activates the surface, revealing the different layers and causing each shift in the viewer’s position to alter the reading. This is not only painting: it is a fragment of landscape suspended in mid-spill.

La obra nace de capas de acrílico que, al ser encapsuladas en resina, conservan su brillo y profundidad. Una estructura de madera sostiene y separa el cuerpo de la pieza del muro, permitiendo que el relieve se desprenda del plano y habite el espacio. La materia desciende en tiras irregulares —entre cascada y corteza— donde color, densidad y bordes quebrados conviven en tensión. La luz activa la superficie, resalta las distintas capas y hace que cada desplazamiento del espectador modifique la lectura. No es solo pintura: es un fragmento de paisaje suspendido en pleno derrame.
